Hello,

I have been trying to stream files on my Sony Bravia Sony Bravia 42W900B (2014 model) and the file is a .mkv file whose details have been attached below. The problem is even though the subtitles are embedded, they do not show up on the TV. Whereas everything else plays fine.

Please help.

The file is not stored on a networked hard drive.

I am running Serviio on a Windows 10 PC, paired up with a 4th Gen Core I5 processor.

The compatibility file for the concerned TV has also been attached.

According to the Codec List supported http://www.sony-asia.com/microsite/brav ... ist.html#5
Internal subtitles in mkv container are supported.

I don't remember sub format supported ass or srt...
Do you have another file with subtitle that works on your device to compare?

You can also try to remux the mkv with this tools : http://www.videohelp.com/software/MKVtoolnix

Could you give me a rundown on what to do with MKVtoolNix. And there is absolutely no stutter with the video. So hopefully there is no problem with the bitrate.

Could you tell me why the subtitles are not being burnt into the video while transcoding as I already have that feature turned on. This is the only thing keeping me from buying the software as everything else works flawlessly
