Sony BDV - T57

First of all I just have to say..... THANK YOU! I have been trying like crazy to get my current media server (Tversity) to work on my Sony bluray player with no luck, but with Serviio I got it working right away. So far it seems to work really well. I have had a few issues with select files not working though (audio being way off from the video, a few files just plain not playing), but otherwise I cannot complain. I am just very happy to have it all working.

it's good to hear, thanks...with your few issues, we could help you, which profile did you used (Sony Bravia or Sony BDP)? If you need help for debugging, first could you provide "ffmpeg -i" result of your files (see my signature for link details)?

Sorry for taking so long to get back, I have been very busy at work. I am using the Sony BDP profile and the files are mostly divx/avi. I ran the "ffmpeg -i" result you asked for and this was the result for two different files:

It looks like a normal divx avi. Not sure why it doesn't play, probably the player doesn't like the way it's encoded.

Hi:

I have a Sony BDV-T57 and I downloaded and installed the Serviio console v 1.2.1. I am using the Sony BDP-Sx70/SMP-N100 (2010)-US profile. I can see that my Sony device is connect in the console with the GREEN Active icon status. However, I cannot see Serviio on my Sony Blu-ray player.

Any suggestion on how I can get my Sony Blu-ray to connect to the serviio and stream my media files?

Thank you in advance! :-)

Maria
