Video plays, but no subtitles

All my video's are .mkv and there a 2 type of subtitles. Either embedded in the MKV or external .srt. However I never see the subtitle.
In subtitles, I checked all three. In Transcoding I checked 'enable transcoding'.
What more need I to do? I have a Bravia from 2010 KDL-NX700.

Nobody have any suggestion how to solve this problem so that I can use Servo?

Para poder ver los subtítulos en formato .srt en mi Sony KDL-50W805B por DNLA en la configuración de subtítulos de Serviio en lugar de "UTF-8" o "ANSI" yo lo solucione poniendo "windows-1252" sin las comillas, espero que les sirva, saludos!

Hi,
I have the same problem !
I try to play mkv files on my 2011's bravia.
With plex i have no problem, but with serviio i don't see subtitles. I try to editing profil on config.xlm but serviio doesn't work after that. I see the message : "Cannot connect to the server, it doesn't seem to be running..." and i must reinstall serviio because server won't start.
Please help me
