when i pause or ff, rw an avi movie streamed from my pc the audio goes way out of sync can't get it back, only way is to play movie from the start again but can't ff or it goes out of sync again.not ideal if your an hour or more into a movie gets very frustrating.having to watch same parts of a movie over again.anyone got any ideas on this issue.

Sorry, but I can't help you, this is probably due to how ffmpeg transcodes the avi file into mpeg2ts (if transcoded), or how the avi were encoded (if streamed in native format).
Could you provide "ffmpeg -i" result of this file?
