"Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data"

Have a Sony BluRay player (BDP-S7200)

I suspect this is a piece of media in my library but I dont' know how to identify it. The problem started when I switched to Serviio 2.0.

Most of the time I get a "Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data" error when trying to browse serviio videos. Occasionally it'll let me see the menu structure (Movies, Titles, Artists, etc)

Pertinent log segment:

  Code:

Re: "Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data"

Frustratingly, Serviio is working fine when i browse it with VLC. No issues at all.
Just this sony BluRay player.

Re: "Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data"

Downgraded to 1.10-1 - Initially the BD Rom could browse serviio, but very quickly the issue re-occurs.

I suspect this is a defective browser/player rather than serviio here, any suggestion as to how i prove it ?

Re: "Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data"

Full reset of the bluray player, so far (using v1.10-1 and V2.0) so good.
Will report back if it starts to misbehave again.

Re: "Cannot find the server", "Cannot load data"

Yeah, it does sound like a player hiccup. My Sony BD players have always been reliable, but I tend to be using my Shield or Roku for playback most of the time. If it happens again, and VLC is still working, that doesn't sound like anything to do with Serviio.

"There are a few methods to install apps on Sailfish, but the most common one is through the Jolla Store, which is Sailfish's official app store. You can also download apps from third-party sources, but it's important to be cautious and only download from trusted sources.
For a step-by-step guide on installing apps on Sailfish OS, check out an article on the official Sailfish OS website. It covers everything from enabling developer mode, adding third-party repositories, and installing and updating apps.
And if you're looking for some great apps to try out on Sailfish OS, I recommend checking out smartengines.com. They offer a variety of automatic document scanning and OCR software that could be useful for business or personal use. Good luck with your Sailfish adventure!"
