Posted: Sun Jun 19, 2011 10:00 amThanks, the reason I am doing this is to see Serviio in the menu of my Sony BDP S770 and select movies via it which are stored on my Synology DS211J nas (films purchased via iTunes).
It is my understanding that once the software is saved to my computer I go to the Library section and selct the folder on the NAs but when I check on the Sony all the folders are empty?

Posted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 9:13 amprobably because Serviio service runs with a user that has no access rights to the external drive. There is a lot of discussion about this on the forum.
