Doesn't show JPG by Adobe Lightroom

TV will display JPG's by Panasonic point n shoot. JPG Mediainfo says chroma subsampling of 2:4:4

TV will not display JPGs coverted from RAW (Nikon SLR) by Adobe lightroom. Mediainfo says chroma subsampling of 4:4:4

Can you post the information on the file. See signature on how to get the info.

Apparently any high quality JPG's generated with Adobe Photoshop or lightroom won't play on sony's.

Some helpful quotes from that thread.

Bravias only support JPEG YCbCr 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 formats.

JPEG YCbCr 4:4:4 is not supported.


After chatting with SONY's support, I was pointed in the direction of a technical spec. listed on the TV model's details:

"- JPEG (JPEG format files with the extension “.jpg” and conforming to DCF 2.0 or Exif 2.21)"


Sony oh my sony why are thou so stupid.

So you confirm that your JPG generated with Adobe Photoshop ar JPEG YCbCr 4:4:4 ?

Could you change the output to 4:2:2

is it possible to transcode the 4:4:4 jpeg pictures on the fly with serviio so that they play on Bravia's?
