I have an S3500, and have used the "Sony BDP-Sx100 (2013) profile" without a problem. The biggest problem is that Sony has dropped support for DTS Master Audio over DLNA (older players it worked fine), so you have to select a different audio track if that is the default. That profile is pretty old, so it you have any 4K media it might not transcode them to a supported format.
That said, we've pretty much stopped using that player, instead using an Nvidia Shield with Kodi as the player. That way I get all the audio codecs without a problem.
