Hi, I am new on here and to steaming films to my Sony set up.

TV sony bravia kdw37ex401u LCD
Blu ray sony bdp-2370
dongle sony iwa br100

and serviio V0.6

The streaming of M.K.V films is fine until I try the larger ones ie above 4 or 5 gb? I notice that on the tv display that the Mbps (i think) normaly sits around 1-4 Mbps but a 7gb film will git to 48 Mbps and stop...wait a second or two then start again.

Is there a fix for this or is this just the way it is for this set up?

BTW, serviio is brilliant when streaming "normal" size media and it's a great find :D

Any advice greatly apprieciated

thanks

I assume the bitrate is too high for your WiFi dongle (I assume that's what the dongle is?)

Your exactly right! I checked my Netgear wifi adapter spec and at most it'll cope with a max of 54mbps. Time to go shopping.

Thanks

I'd recommend using a cable instead of the dongle. Then you can keep your router.
