Please help!
The renderer crashes sometimes even starting.

Why is it, or what might be the cause?

1) Not sure that MKV with VC-1video codec are supported.
2) Some muxer library are not supported, don't know exactly with but some mkvmerge version are good and some other not.
3) Muxing with header stripping is not supported.

Its very difficult to know what mkv version is supported, too many parameters.

I fear that the VC-1 codec causes the actual problem.
The film plays if I convert VC-1 to AVC.

i havent seem a device yet that support VC-1 codec.

Ok.
I convert one of the above mkv videos with tsMuxeR GUI 1.10.6 to m2ts file, the movie plays perfectly.
My Sony renderer (Remote control, Info button) shows while playing the VC-1 codec even.
Why VC-1 not in one mkv-container?
