Serviio with Sony Tablet S/PS3

Hi all,

First off, apologies if this is a total newbie question but I've only today looked into DLNA so please bear with me.

I have Serviio installed on my PC and also have a PS3 and Sony Tablet S as DLNA-enabled devices.

I'm wondering if it is possible to use the Sony Tablet S throw capability to throw audio and video to the PS3 via Serviio, as I am having no luck so far. I'm a bit confused because if the Sony Tablet S has a throw capability, I assume that this acts as a DLNA server and the PS3 as a DLNA client so I'm thinking that this may be possible.

I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks in advance.

serviio can stream directly to the ps3 so the tablets throw function isnt needed. :)

the tablet acts as DLNA controller, a link between the server (Serviio) and renderer (PS3). It should work, you have to give the IP of the tablet PS3 profile in the console.
