Hello everyone,

First I just want to say: THANK YOU for Serviio. :)

I have Serviio running on a PC as my Media server.

I am using a Sony SMP-N100 to stream videos to my TV.

I am not able to select different audio streams or turn on Subtitle when streaming from Serviio.
I can do this if I connect a Portable Drive to the Sony with the same videos.

Can we select different Audio and Subtitle (On / Off) streams using Serviio as the server?

Thanks

Have a read of the Sony Bluray sticky topic in this folder. The SMP-N100 is basically a Sony bluray player without the drive, so the same technical points in that document apply. It is possible to have multiple audio tracks and support for subs in MKV files but there are downsides which mean that it's generally worse. Playback is much worse over wifi with these profile changes, and it will stutter the moment you try to REW/FFWD. You can't recover from this, your only option is to start the whole movie again. So, if you're on a wired connection and will watch a movie from start to finish without pausing or skipping then it's fine. :)
