TV cannot connect to Serviio

Today my Sony KDL-40NX803 cannot connect to Serviio.
The Serviio icon is just the grey generic one, whilst the PC one shows the Windows logo.
I've opened the console from the all programs list, and it shows as "running".
I have also tried to "start Serviio service" from the same list, to no avail.
Last time I had these problems, you suggested that I assign the TV a static IP address, I've checked the router and this instruction is still listed.
How do I convince the TV that Serviio really is working?

Router & PC re-booted, Serviio console stopped and re-started, TV still says Serviio is off.
Console showes TV as "Active" and "Windows Media Player (Generic DLNA profile)" as inactive....this is always the case.
Is the Windows Media Player entry representing my PC, if so, it's the only bit that's working!

run ifconfig from CMD and confirm Ip hasnt changed, and is still same as IP you entered in the console.

Totally confused.

ipconfig returns:-
Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix : lan
IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.65

...This is the IP address of the "Windows Media Player (Generic DLNA profile)" entry in Console.
There is no listing of any other IP addresses, so where has the TV gone?
That used to have the address "192.168.1.64".

I've checked the Routers home network page, and the TV is listed there, and carries the IP Address "192.168.1.64", so why is it not showing in the IP Config listing??

Also, when re-booting my router, unusually, my PC was unable to connect, saying that the stored details didn't match.
Re-entering the Router Key, it connected, but now my laptop is nolonger listed in my router's home network page, and the generic SSID of my router is listed in addition to another entry bearing it's given name!
(to which I'm currently connected)
What on earth is happening??

Wouldn't know where to start!
  God Save me from bloody wireless networks :?
Just been upstairs and fired up my lappy...it's still on my home network thanks be to the Wireless God!
It has also miraculously re-appeared on my Router's home network page!
(It's never gone AWOL before, switched off or on, it's always been listed) :?
I never cease to be amazed that I ever managed to set up this network...but live in dread of it going mamaries aloft...if you know what I mean.

Serviio is still not active.

My problem is not the act of re-setting it, but the fact that I will lose all the settings that I have changed over the years.
I've no idea what I will have to "re-do" and don't want to face that prospect!
No idea why Serviio stopped working, I've done nothing to provoke it!
Not changed any settings or installed any software, so there must be an easier way to poke it back into action.

Would you Adam & Eve it!
Just done a third re-boot and behold, there it is resplendent in all it's technicolour glory!!
Panic over. :D
Unfortunately, like most things wireless, it just comes and goes as it pleases.....bit like a cat I suppose!
Sadly, I've learned little from the experience and will likely be back sooner or later in a similar state of bewilderment
Just save me a seat!
