Playstation 4 giving 'audio not supported' errors

Hi,

I have had a look through the board and i am not sure if there is an easy fix (fingers crossed) but i am finding quite frequently that my PS4 is reporting an 'audio not supported' error while streaming through serviio. I had a look at my status in serviio itself and it does show the playstation 4 device having the playstation 4 profile assigned, can anyone please advise in the most basic way (i'm all thumbs when it comes to this) on perhaps how to force the DTS sound changed to AC3 or any kind of fix??

Thanks in advance for any help and advice!

Re: Playstation 4 giving 'audio not supported' errors

The PS4 profile does capture DTS (dca) for transcoding into Dolby Digital (ac3), but it only does so with H.264 video (in any container). We would need to see what video codec your media has to determine if it's being missed because of a different video codec.
