No sound on Sony BDP-S570 on some files

Here's a weird one. I have a couple of files that will play but with no sound, even if the transcoded file is fine and HAS sound (if played on my pc).

For your information...
The file transcoded by serviio/ffmpeg is a MPEGTS ( not mkv), in fact, the MKV/h264/mp3 will be remuxed in MPEGTS/h264/MP3 (format supported by your BDP device)

Could you enable detailed logging an find the ffmpeg command line used to remuxed this mkv file ?

Then retry locally in a windows terminal the same ffmpeg command line and post ffmpeg log result here ?

I don't know why your mp3 sound track failed....
You can try to comment <!--Matches container="matroska" /--> on bdp2010 profile, then your file will be delivered in native format.

Otherwise, you have to re-encode your source file.

I'm thinking it MIGHT be related to this issue: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3399&p=22551&hilit=great#p22546

But I don't know how to check. VirtualDub won't open the file saying it doesn't support H264.

I don't know too, what is the wBitsPerSample element ? a variable bitrate ? Not sure it was the same problem (previous topic talk about AVI container...)

Could you check with MediaInfo tools ?
