Serviio

Hi,

I just installed serviio on my macbook pro. In a wired network it is connected to my LG 42LE8500.
On my TV I see the standerd folder structure of Serviio, but they all contain empty folders.

I selected a folder in the library and ticked the box 'video's'.
I choosed several renderer profile and the IP field is blank, but all without succes.

Thanks in advance for help.

I just found out that I was unpatient. It takes some time for the files to appear.
I do have problems with subtitles.

Like?

most recent LG software (tv = LG 42LE8500)
most recent serviio 0.5
same title for movie and .srt

no subtitles are displayed.

What could be the solutions?

Are you using the LG profile?

Hi,

I used the generic dlna profile.
When I change this to LG BD profile, I got an error when loading the movies: file is unvalid.

can you post ffmpeg -i of the file?

I am not sure what you mean with ffpmpeg -i.
I use evereything on a mac and the files are all .mkv files.

I try to get the info with ffmpeg, but my .mkv files are not recognized.
In the terminal the code ffmpeg -i does not give any result. Maybe I do not use the right syntax. I am not experienced with Terminal.
My os is osx 10.6.6

I installed ffmpegX with the requested binaries. In the terminal I still get this output, see picture:

ffmpeg is distributed with Serviio, it's under Serviio.app

I run ffmpeg. After that I restarted the ffmpeg command and still the message: command not found.

you don't use the file name as a parameter (there is ;exit in there instead)

does the file play if you use Generic profile?

Yes, when I use generic profile, so far all my files play smoothly, but without subtitles.
With LG BD profile, files do not play.
