"Invalid file format" error with M4A

Hi there - I've recently installed Serviio on a Mac Pro, streaming to an LG Smart TV. Not all tracks from iTunes are showing up though. If I browse the audio folder from iTunes on the TV, I can see the track names, but it says 'Invalid file format' - this seems to be where they're M4A format. I've tried the self-service options to solve this, but no joy - has anyone experiecned this before?
Thanks
Stuart

Maybe the files have DRM, as they are from iTunes..?

If you want to play iTunes music on non-Apple devices, you have to remove DRM protection at first. All iTunes Audios are encrypted with DRM protection, it can be played on Apple devices only. Fortunately, there are many DRM removal tool for us to remove DRM protection and convert iTunes audios from M4P to common MP3, AAC, M4A, M4B, etc. The tool for me is Tuneskit DRM Audio Converter for Mac. It is designed to convert DRM protected Audios at 30x faster speed with no quality loss. Good luck to you.

You're posting to a very old thread. Also, Apple no longer has DRM on their music files, so your recommended software solution is not necessary.
