Playlist for movies

I can display playlist. However it will display in it's own folder.
Is there a way to create a playlist in an existing folder?
Example:
I have a folder with movies from one actor. However, there are a few
movies in another actor folders which also has the actor from the first folder.
I would like to create a playlist in the first folder pointing to movies in the
second folder.

Sorry if it sounds a little bit confusing.

Thank you

Re: Playlist for movies

If I'm following you, you would like to see a playlist somewhere other than the Playlist presentation. Right now, that isn't possible. You can create a store a playlist within any of your shared library locations, but you'll only see them within the Playlist presentation.

And the playlist can include files from any of your media folders. For example, I have 8 separate shared folders across multiple hard drives. A playlist can include a file from any or all of those locations. For simplicity I store all my playlists (I have 46 of them) in a single location, but they have files from every shared folder I have.

So, if you have a playlist of John Wayne movies, and you have a playlist of Kirk Douglas movies, your could include The War Wagon in both playlists, since both actors we in that movie.
