Saved profile changes back to default!!

Why does the profile automatically changes back to default after I changed it to LG TV Player! It doesn't stick. I have a fixed IP for the LG TV and assigned the new working DTS transcoding profile to this IP address. Please help.

Re: Saved profile changes back to default!!

So you changed the profile of a device to something else and it changed back did you click the save button in the bottom right of the console? Also are you using multiple renderers? Also are you using a bound ip address?

I'm Sorry, Yes I Saved the Choice. What is a bound IP Address? I assigned an IP addres to the mac address of my TV in my netgear router and now the TV has the same address 192.168.1.20 all the time. I have checked it several times in my router and on the TV. That is the address of my LG LW5500. I'm Stumped, why does the saved LG profile changes back to default DLNA I don't know.

Aha, I'm using Dutch version and didn't find [Bound], but I know what you mean now and trying it. Thanks so far.

Nope didn't work and now I get Invalid File on my TV. That's a first. :-( Trying to play mkv file with DTS audio stream. Did work one time only after I changed profile.

Re: Saved profile changes back to default!!

so the profile still changes back? What you could try is deleting all the general profile data and adding in the new profiles data in there instead but make a back up of the profiles.xml first

Re: Saved profile changes back to default!!

This is expected in current version of serviio and will be sorted in the next release, to solve this change the original profile for your device rather than trying to create a completely new one. :)
