Video playback on DT50 stuttering/stops after certain time

Hope you can help, ive done a few searches and applied the 2013 profiles too to the XML but this seems to keep happening,
i am trying to stream a 9gb file .mkv via Virgin media superhub wirelessly, have made sure multicast is on, etc. but the movie stutters, this is the first film that has done this and all others I have played for month now are OK except the other reason for this post, when playing v large files the movie just stops, are these 3 issues related.
edit: the file i am trying to watch has DTS type Audio, i was reading somewhere here that it could be a problem
1.5gb/4gb files are fine but when i go higher this seems to happen
I am currently indexing the movies into Win Media player so I can try it on the as a comparison, if the film plays ok with the Windows service
Also, would hardwiring the LAN in make any difference i.e could this be a wireless related issue?
