Blu-Ray Player DMP-BDT130EG (2013)

My Panasonic Blu-Ray Player DMP-BDT130EG works with Profile "Panasonic BD Player" but MKV´s plays not "round" (stutter) . Serviio identify the device as NFLC SDK v1.5. I tried the Vera 2013 profile without success.

Please help.

Please post MediaInfo details for the stuttering file. Also describe your network and PC.

Have a read of http://www.serviio.org/component/conten ... ?id=21#q12.

Re: Blu-Ray Player DMP-BDT130EG (2013)

My Network is Gigabit. Serviio run on NAS Qnap TS259 Pro. The Panasonic should play MKV without transcoding for my opinion. The player has the option to mount smb network share and play mkv without problems, but for my wife it´s easy to use DLNA. The "problem" regards all my mkv files.

Re: Blu-Ray Player DMP-BDT130EG (2013)

Sorry about the delay - not sure how this slipped by.

I suspect your stuttering is caused by transcoding - I haven't a Qnap TS259 Pro NAS, but I do know a lot of NAS's do not have the processing power to do any heavy duty transcoding (limited to remuxing only). The Panasonic BD player profile you are using will remux the video and transcode the audio. The confusing part is that the Panasonic 2013 profile should play your file natively (ie. without transcoding).

Can you confirm your file is being transcoded (turn on detailed logging and play the file - the log file will tell you if transcoded or played natively).

I notice this file has subtitles. What are your settings in Serviio console (Delivery, Subtitles tab). Try both profiles with only the top checkbox selected.
