Panasonic TX L42E6B Aspect Ratio Problem

I am using the Panasonic Viera E/S/ST/VT (2011) profile to stream video to my Panasonic TX L42E6B. It trans-codes wonderfully but all the video is stretched to fit the screen rather than in its native format. I have tried using the new Panasonic 2013 profile but the TV will not recognise this. Can anyone help me with this?

What type of file is being stretched. Post MediaInfo details for the file.
Also, try turning transcoding off (or select the Generic Profile) - does the file play?
Is there any sub-titles associated with this video (either embedded or a separate file)?

What do you mean - it doesn't find Serviio, or cannot see/play the file? Ensure you press Save after changing profiles. The 2011 and 2011/12 profile are an extension of the 2013 profile so if one works they should all work (albeit some files won't be visible and/or playable if the wrong profile is selected).

The 2013 profile should be the better one for the E6 model (the main differences between the two is that the 2013 profile will play MP4/H264/AAC and MKV/H264/DTS and most AVI files natively - there are other differences but these are the three that effect most files). It should also have been the one auto-detected by Serviio?

When I change the profile to the 2013 version it does not find Serviio on the TV

I upgraded Serviio to the latest version, removed the TV profile and then re-installed it as the 2013 version and this seems to have worked.
