Serviio Panasonic DMP-BDT350 Blu Ray

I'm new to Serviio and new to DNLA. Running installation 0.5.2. on XP. Has anyone had any luck with running Serviio with the Panasonic DMP-BDT350 Blu Ray Player? I'm not sure if the problem is on my computer end or the Blu Ray end at present. I started out running the "generic" DLNA profile and then switched to the Panasonic Viera profile. BDT350 can see my host computer and can see the directory structure but no audio or video is available to play, it's greyed out "Cannot Play". So far the only thing I've managed to send are jpg files. Does Serviio transcode audio/video on the fly or does it transcode in advance? I've been checking my "Transcoded Files Location" directory and so far nothing is showing up. I've rebooted. I've tried stopping and starting the Serviio service. Stopping and starting the UPnp/DLNA server. Nothing so far. Which video containers/codecs are the "easiest" to encode (AVI, MP2, MP4?) I want to set up a directory with just one video file to encode so I can get a handle on this. Any direction you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It transcodes on-the-fly. Your problem looks like the profile might not be correct - the files are not recognized.

Re: Serviio Panasonic DMP-BDT350 Blu Ray

Device Spy cannot see my BDT350, it only shows my Serviio host computer and my Wireless N router. The BDT350 connects fine to the Serviio service though. Strange. Serviio's Console shows the BDT350 as 192.168.0.191. I can ping this. I am unable to add this as a URI manually in Device Spy, I'm manually typing HTTP://192.168.0.191 and I've tried just typing the IP but Device Spy says "Could not load device".
