Panasonic TX-55EZ952B streaming problems

Some MKV files wil work fine but others cut out whilst in mid stream from PC to TV, usually at the same place. I'm looking for help to get Serviio or the Panasonic configured properly.

Serviio worked fine on my old Samsung but the Viera TV is giving me a headache...

What profile are people using, Generic DNLA or another Panasonic profile?

Do Serviio regularly update profiles?

Anyone got some help on this?

The nearest choice I have is the Panasonic 2013 but I still get some files that dont show correct aspect ( no, its not the TV settings)

Sometimes there can just be some sort of hiccup in the file that trips up playback. You can often use ffmpeg from the command line and just recopy the video into a new folder. I don't have the syntax in front of me right now, but you basically just want to copy the existing video and audio into a new file, with no alterations. This site might explain it enough for you to try it. And you have ffmpeg on your computer now. It's in the Serviio install folder in the /lib folder.

I can get aspect ratio ok by selecting another profile, currently I have the PANASONIC VIERA 2013 profile selected. Sound is often lagging and out of sync though.

Im streaming by a hard wired Ethernet connection direct to the router thats about 10ft away from me so lag shouldnt be an issue.

Is there a recognised profile that actually works with the Panasonic 55EZ592B ?

I developed my own profile (attached) for my Panasonic CS610A, which is a 2015 model. You can try it for your model ( save this file in your Serviio\config folder and then restart your PC. You will have to manually assign the Panasonic 2015 profile to your device - I haven't change the detection string to match your model).

I suspect this will need to be tweaked for your model. In order to assist you with that you need to provide MediaInfo details for the file that is causing problems. You mentioned that you can get aspect ratio ok by selecting another profile - which profile is it OK in? Also, what files don't play/show up if you use the Generic Profile (once again MediaInfo details)?
