tc p42x3 don't show .srt file

dear all, I have a VIERA tc p42x3, and I can't do the serviio server show me the subtitles for my movies, this have the same name of the mkv file. i am using the lastest version of serviio. and using the default panasonic profile. i hope you can help me please.

yep, looks like Viera doesnt support srt for mkv files.

probably a few but Serviio only supports srt

Have you tried to remux the mkv file adding the srt ? It works for me. (use mkvtoolnix v3.4.0).

how many time takt that? for example with a file of 2Gb?

For 11 gbs 1080p mkv file about 4 mins on I7 2.0.

hi,I tried, but unsuccess, do you know if the srt file must encoding in a specific format like utf8 or another.?

Humm don't know for shure but all my srt are UTF8: S_TEXT/UTF8.

Hi, my viera model doesn't support subtitle with mkv file, do you have any idea how can get play subtitle?

hi, I connected the tv to my router, and it took ip correctly, but i can't see it as device on Device spy.
any suggestions?

Assuming you can play mkv files with Serviio there should be no network/DLNA problem..
Just to make shure, after you remux the mkv file with srt (UTF8) and play it, when you go to "options -> subtitles" (ON TV) it says that there are no subtitles or after remux the file don't play at all ?
