Panasonic TX-P42V20B working with Serviio

First off congratulations to the Serviio team for writing such a great piece of software.
I now have MKV & MP4 playback on my 2010 model Panasonic TX-P42V20B. In additon I am also watching iplayer and vimeo HD feeds via Serviio.
What is also great is that the media player file menu actually works faster using serviio due to the use of metadata.
A couple of issues;
MKV & MP4 movies which are not 720 pixels high are stretched to fit the TV screen. There is no menu within the TV to adjust back to native.
AVI's are always played back at native resolution, no transcoding required as the TV supports this format.
Using the info button on TV to examine the files shows that;
MKV's & MP4's appear as 'VIDEO' and 'RESOLUTION' is blank
AVI's appear as 'Divx' and 'RESOLUTION' shows actual pixels (eg 1080 x 588)
Is there anyway way to include the resolution data in the serviio trancoded stream for MKV and MP4?

Just upgraded from 0.6.2 to 1.0.1, however I am now experiencing massive stutter on files that were previously playing perfectly.
In fact 0.6.2 was rock solid with regards to play back.
Noticed that with 1.0.1 the harddrive light constantly flickers during playback where as on 0.6.2 it's steady.
So downgraded back to 0.6.2!

I experienced the exact same symptom. I have a VT20 and MKV playback is fine with 0.6.2 but experience a lot more stuttering with 1.0.1 (Viera 2010 profile selected). I run Windows 7, 12GB memory, Core i7-3770 (8-core). When this happens, CPU utilisation is high across all 8 cores.

Try the Viera 2011 profile, that doesn't transcode MKV.

I'm using a MAC with Serviio 1.1 and connecting to a TH-P58VT20A.
I was having trouble with MKV files stuttering while using the Viera 2010 profile, however when I changed to the Samsung A profile playing these files has become almost flawless. The only issue is after I pause sometimes the sound is out of sink, pausing again generally allows the sound and video to re-sync.
The only other thing I have noticed since changing to this profile is that MP4 files will not play back.
Now I'm looking for a profile suitable for Panasonic SA-BTT755 Home Theatre system, suggestions anyone?
