Hi,
I have the above player I have just purchased for the sole purpose of using DLNA and streaming media from my network.
I have a small windows network running a DC.
The media is all stored on an open NAS box.
I have a Mediagate MG-800HD and this has been my media player to date. It can play from just folders no issue.
I have setup Serviio and shared a folder with some content. The MG-800HD can play music photos and vids no issue via Serviio.
The Panasonic however just comes up with cannot play for all vids (DivX, XVid, MKV etc). Music and pics are OK.
I noticed that there is only a generic profile for transcoding and nothing for Panasonic bluray players.
If I need to buy pro I will look at that option because if I cant get this to work I will be returning the Panasonic device
Look forward to your responses.
Thanks Steve

You don't need to buy Pro for local network streaming. Select one of the Panasonic Viera profiles - try them all and pick the one you have most success with.
