Serviio 1.0, Viera TC-L42E50, Device Profile not sticking

I have a Panasonic Viera TC-L42E50 and the profile setting for it, "Panasonic Viera E/G/GT/DT/UT (2011/2012)", doesn't seem to remain set. It resets itself to the "Panasonic Viera (2010)" profile on restarts of Serviio and often on refreshes. Transcoding always seems to have the suffix "-viera2010" instead of "-viera2011a" and Avi transcoding doesn't work.

The FriendlyName is listed as "VIERA E50" in Device Spy.

Thanks,

can you also provide detailed log of Serviio startup and 1 minute after that?

OK its strange. Here are logs from when I was having problems with it detecting it as "Panasonic Viera (2010)".
serviio.log
(323.42 KiB) Downloaded 545 times

serviio (2).log
(326.78 KiB) Downloaded 545 times

But after killing the service, console and deleting the log so as to try to recreate the problem and get a better log, it now seems to detect and stay with the "Panasonic Viera E/G/GT/DT/UT (2011/2012)" profile even after refreshing and multiple restarts, it remains set now. So I guess it fixed itself somehow. BUT, now transcoding doesn't seem to work at all with it detected and remaining on the "Panasonic Viera E/G/GT/DT/UT (2011/2012)" profile. It just doesn't transcode, never calls ffmpeg or anything. Here is a log from it now remaining on the correct profile but NOT transcoding as it should when I try to play two movies with DTS audio it should transcode to AC3...
serviio.log
Correct Profile, NOT transcoding
(379.07 KiB) Downloaded 559 times

But if I manually set it back to the 2010 profile, transcoding works except for avi but it also transcodes formats it shouldn't for the E50 model like mkvs already with ac3 audio .

Thanks, I can see the behaviour in the log. The fact it's stopped behaving like that may be just down to timing, so I'll try to fix that.

No transcoding of MKV/DTS is correct, at least according to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5119 (although they say some models do not play DTS natively, so I might have to add ac3 transcoding back in just to cover everyone)

Hi,
I have the same problem... Upgrading to Serviio 1.0 I cannot set the correct profile for my Panasonic L37E30, if I set profile to Panasonic Viera E/G/GT/DT/UT (2011/2012) it resets itself to the "Panasonic Viera (2010)" profile, and transcoding doesn't work.
Reverting back to Serviio 0.6.2 and works fine
