Hi to all!

in prevoius I used w7 with enabled media streaming server to play recorded ts-files directly with the built-in media server of the Panasonic TX-L37V10E (2009)
The recordings are created by a small budget dvb-s pci card, a Skystar 2 TV PCI.
Now I heard sth. about Serviio.
I installed it sucessfully, put in the recordings dir, enabled transcode option (all 4 cpus) - seems all fine adjusted.

The Panasonic lists now the servio-mediaserver.
I can see by selecting folder the recorded files, a little cover is listed next to - but all are unsupported.
I select all renderer profile are listed for Panasonic - nothing..
No mkv, mp4, ts is playable...

Any idea?

cheers Inti31

I have the most success with my Panasonic products (TV and Blu-Ray player) by sticking with MPG for video. MP4, MKV and others all seem to be hit or miss, depending on how the video was created/ripped.

Hi, thx for your answer... - I turned over to mpg format - the mpg-file is also listed, now on with a symbol which means playable, but it is not.
Thought serviio is a more functional media server (ms) - by selecting w7 streaming server the TV plays ts-files.
Was a try to have only one media server which could take over the functionalities I've now with another ms & w7.
strange - the TX-L37V10E was in 2009 the excellent LCD called masterpiece in this year. (http://www.areadvd.de/hardware/2009/pan ... 0e_1.shtml)

My Panasonic lists 4 ms:
At time I use
- twonky for avi/divx (licence integrated by buying the TV)
- w7 for ts
- dvbv-rs for live-tv streaming (and also avi/divx)
- fritzbox-ms for usb-media (divx,xvid)
- and finally
- an external mediaplayer as streaming client for all other stuff like full-hd, mkv,mp4,iso, x264, avchd,... (which could stream also live-tv)

But I thought it would be more easy to select it all by one by using just the media server in the TV...

so I will play a little bit and the I guess I will uninstall serviio in a few days...
