I was quite enthusiastic about ver. 1.2 because of its advertised enhanced subtitle support. Despite I am quite satisfied with the performance of Serviio I was unable to view any 3D subtitles so far.

The Problem is:
It seems that Serviio 1.2 does not recognize Idx/sub subtitles (graphical) as valid.
I tried to watch 3D movie with 3D subtitles named as follows:
The.Movie.2012.3D.1080p.Bluray.H-SBS.X264.ML.mkv
The.Movie.2012.3D.1080p.Bluray.H-SBS.X264.ML idx
The.Movie.2012.3D.1080p.Bluray.H-SBS.X264.ML.sub

The Video page on the TV states “ No subtitles”, but if I put the SRT variant of the subtitles in the folder it is recognized despite it is unreadable as always, because the subtitle line is divided on the both sides of the 3D screen.

My TV is Panasonic Vierra TX-L42ET5E. I am using the Panasonic Viera E/S/ST/VT (2011) profile, despite the TV supports AVI format it works for me in most cases.

Help Request:
I would appreciate if someone of the Serviio masters may confirm that new ver. 1.2 supports idx/sub subtitles and under which conditions I may view them. Or nay oher way to convert SRT to compatible 3D format if any. Without transcoding.

Please let me know if have to attach serviio.log here, because actually this 3D 18 GB movie plays great without any shutting despite my Windows based PC with Serviio is 8 years old outdated hardware, so I can not even dream about transcoding.

They are not supported: http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=33

Actually no image based subs are supported ATM (via transcoding). You won't be able to play them on your TV anyway, as you don't want to transcode, and the TV obviously doesn't play them now (ie the TV doesn't support native image based subs)
