Hi I'm new here, I am trying to connect my Panasonic DT30 series Smart TV to the Serviio console on my windows 7 PC.

In the status tab on the console it doesn't have my TV or its IP Address listed there!?

On my TV it also says server not found.

I have enabled streaming to my TV in windows 7 homegroup settings.

Can you please help me get it setup? Thanks

try going into the firewall setting in control panels and turning off your firewall.

how are your server and TV connected? are they both wireless on the same router? or both wired?

My TV is connected to my Virgin SuperHub via ethernet cable (using tp-link ethernet powerline adapters).

My Pc is also connected to the SuperHub via ethernet cable (using tp-link ethernet powerline adapters).

it seems like you are hitting some kind of connectivity issue rather than a TV setup or profile issue, something is keeping your TV and server from being able to talk to each other. Do you have both devices plugged into the standard ethernet ports on your router? the TV isn't in some kind of special TV only port is it?

They are both plugged into standard ports on the superhub...it won't be anything to do with the tp-link powerline adapters will it?

Got it working somehow? clicked some buttons fiddled with some wires and there you go! its a bit inconsistent, sometimes i have to turn the TV off and do a network test for it to find it again...but it WORKS!
Thanks for you help guys
