can't get the console 1.6 working in win10

I managed to update my serviio 1.5.2 to Serviio 1.6 on my Zyxel nsa325v2.
And serviio started OK on NAS.

Can't find the "ServiioConsole.exe.vmoptions" and the "serviio-console.bat" in the installation of serviio console (only) in windows 10.
So that I can point to my NAS ip.

The console is saying: "Cannot connect to the server, it doesn't seem to be running..."

How do I let the console know where the server is?

You don't run the console on a remote PC anymore. Just open the web page.

Thanks,

Now I've opened the console through the webinterface.

But I read the FAQ on:

"My files (on remote drive) are not scanned"

And In the web console interface I have added the path to my videos " /mnt/HD_a2/video/incoming"

But it's not scanning anything (no files visible in the MediaBrowser)

And I don't really understand how I set up the shares so It's scanned.

Just use the web interface to Browse for the folders. They are presented as they are on the server (and accessible to the Serviio process user).

As far as I remember files scanner only needs read permissions for shared content. So unlikely this is related with serviio permissions. You may try to update your java version and recheck again.

hi
thanks for your answers.

I activated detailed debug logging and it was the ffmpeg that wasn't installed properly.
I also forgot the path to ffmpeg in the bin/serviio.sh

after that I run in putty:
  Code:
slacker -UaA br2:ffmpeg2/

and updated the one that said update and the others reinstalled

and looked in the logging serviio.log and now it worked for all the directory and the scanning of files in video
