Serviio

Hello together,

may my question is really super stupid.
Serviio is running on my gamer pc like charm.

Now i bought a NAS Synology DS216play.

Everything seemed easy, but then i wanted to install serviio on it.
Well, i followed the step by step guide of patters, but the installation of Java 8 SE always fails with this error code
"Java SE Embedded 8" cant be installed. It seems from /etc/profile that a Java Runtime is already installed at /var/packages/JavaManager/target/Java/jre. Uninstall it and try again."

If i follow this instruction...and install it like appreciated, i get the notice at installing serviio
Serviio cant be installed. Java is not installed or not properly configured. JAVA_HOME is not defined. Download and install the Java Synology Package from http://wp.mepVshC-z5

I feel like a super idiot for this dumb questions, but how can i install everything properly on my DS216play?

Remove the Java Manager package.
Install the Java 8 package from PCLoadLetter (updated today to work with Java 8u71).
Install Serviio.

Trouble came from unsupported version 8.71.
Now it was easy going.

Hey patters, the file ejdk-8u77-linux-i586 is not aviable on Oracle anymore for some reason, can u provide it or uodate the Java 8 package for use with the recent version 91 please?

I'm going to echo the same request - Oracle has removed access to Oracle Java SE Embedded version 8 update 77 (8u77) on their website. It's now 4-25-16 and the package is not available.

Any chance we could get the latest package to work 8u91?
