QNAP TS-459 Pro+ installation issues
I was able to get serviio running on my QNAP TS-459 Pro+ NAS, and I setup a console on a windows 7 laptop to manage it. This all worked, but I am having issues with the library. It is not recognizing anything that I have in the library. I have a bunch of movies and tv shows and none of them are visible.
I did the following when installing serviio:
1. Installed JRE QPKG
2. install lame, yasm & optware
3. Downloaded serviio & ffmpeg from serviio.org
4. Extracted ffmpeg into /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/ffmpeg/
5. Modified ffmpeg configure
to
6. Installed ffmpeg
7. Extracted serviio into /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/serviio/
8. Added to JAVA_OPTS
-Dserviio.remoteHost=<nas ip> -Dffmpeg.location=/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/ffmpeg/ffmpeg
9. run serviio
10. Add path's to library
After this I browsed using my Samsung TV & XBMC on a laptop, but nothing under those 2 path's are visible.
Can't seem to figure out what the issue is.
UPDATE: after removing -Dffmpeg.location=/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/ffmpeg/ffmpeg from JAVA_OPTS string. It started to pick up some movies. I tried playing it (1080p/mkv) and I get error msg "not supported file format" on my Samsung TV. I did set the correct profile for the TV.
