ffmpeg versions

There's probably a good reason for doing so, but when compiling ffmpeg for a NAS box why should we use the patched version on the Serviio site and not the latest version from the ffmpeg git repository?

If it's a general patch to improve ffmpeg then it should be part of ffmpeg. Or is it something specific to Serviio?

Re: ffmpeg versions

It was a patch related to non-monotone timestamp in some files (issue 807). Maybe it's been fixed. With the latest version, though, Serviio wont detect H264 files properly (will be fixed in 0.6)

OK, good to know. I'll wait until 0.6 before mucking about with a different version of ffmpeg.

The newest ffmpeg versions won't detect/play videos with DTS encoded audio tracks in serviio.

This will also need to be fixed before being able to use any version of ffmpeg with serviio.
