Synology 1019+ SERVIIO not "visible" on DLNA network

I have just migrated from a DS1511+to a DS1019+. Migration went well but after starting SERVIIO (PRO) and adding another folder, none of my DLNA players (TV, Streamer, VLC, Media Browser) is able to see, let alone locate , SERVIIO on the Synology. I have also updated JAVA, to 1.8.0 -241
I did have another version of SERVIIO running on my MacBook and that worked fine. I have turned it off to gain some clarity.

Any ideas?

So no device on your network is seeing Serviio? Please attach your Serviio log here so we can ensure it's running correctly.

How do you turn on Logging?
I checked out your instructions but in Synology you don't get access to the install folder to update the Config file

Serviio always logs at the general level, and can be set to provide detailed logging. However, you need to be able to access the install location to reach the log file, and to enable detailed logging. You can probably use an SSH client to log into the NAS and access the file structure. I've used PuTTY in the past for such access, but I have no experience with a NAS so I can't help enabling SSH and how to set it up.

Any other common reasons why SERVIIO wouldn't showing up in the DLNA network?

In my experience the two most common reasons are either a) firewall blocking access or b) network issues. Since NAS devices usually don't have a typical firewall (to my knowledge), that isn't your likely issue. Since DLNA requires all network devices to be connected to the same LAN segment (unless some serious routing configuration is accomplished), it can be a more common issue. Sometimes wireless routers have a setting that blocks devices from seeing each other, especially if they are configured as a "guest" wireless access point. Occasionally devices that have more than one network adapter will try to use the wrong adapter for Serviio (even if the second adapter is disabled). But for most home networks, especially if they're wired, the network segments should all be the same and everything should see everything else.

It's really necessary to get access to the Serviio log to ensure that it's up and running correctly, and can verify it's using an IP address that matches the rest of your network.

Could also try Switching off SSDP which you can find in the File Services Control Panel Advanced Page... just a shot but it Binds a miniSSDP service which shares UDP 1900
