Serviio

As the topic title says, I've upgraded to QTS 4.5.2.1566 and now Serviio isn't detected by any of my other devices.

The GUI appears to work fine, with the exception that the stop server option fails to function - it just spins forever.

My nas is an x86 based TS563 - can anyone please confirm what I'm seeing here?


Interestingly the 'emby' product is also showing the same behaviour, i.e. undetectable when on 4.5.2. Both Serviio and emby work just fine on my other TS531p which is ARM based and on an older QTS firmware.


I'm suspecting the Qnap's handling of these unsigned apps is at fault but Qnap support aren't interested because both apps are 3rd party...

QNap's response after raising a call with them:-

"If 3rd party DLNA servers don't work and built-in DLNA server works as well as Twonky server, please contact the 3rd party app developer (contact information can be found in the App information page). The developer or maitainer need to adjust their app with the new firmware.

So it's Serviio's problem (and Emby's too)...

Or can somebody/anybody confirm that they're not seeing the same issue as me please ? I can't be the only person with Serviio on an x86 QNap!
