Hey,
New to the whole NAS box scene but used Serviio on my normal server streaming through my samsung Smart TV. Now i have the ds212j and don't like the meadia streamer as much as Serviio. I think i read some where you can put Serviio on the nas, is that right? If so can some one give me a really simple talk through on how to do this?
PLease and thank you!

This may be what you're looking for but only works on Marvell Kirkwood or Intel CPUs:

What is the exact file it is looking for. I had issues installing Java, the install was pointing me to a file that had a slightly different name. I downloaded it anyway and changed the name to what it was looking for, then it went along and finished the install.

A lot of web browsers interfere with these files as they're downloading (for instance un-gzipping a .tar.gz to just .tar, or renaming them without touching them, like .tar.tar for no apparent reason). Firefox seems to just leave the files alone as intended, so in case of problems try Firefox.

You downloaded the wrong file. It's the ARM5 one you want. Maybe that's the ARM6 one.

You also have the wrong toolchain file there too. All this is in the instructions.
