Won't that be more confusing? I'm all for splitting things up to fit on a mobile device, but don't really want to add things from multiple console tabs together.

@Zip would 'Serviioid' be too similar?

I dont it will, Presentation Extras is something is hardly touched, in my experience ive never changed it

Its still related to Library, as its something that changes how the Library is viewed

I like Serviioid :) Its serviio with "id" at the end

what about Servdroiid, you get both Serv and droid together plus you get the iconic "ii" of serviio

I'll have a think about it. The ideal solution would be to have them at the bottom of the list. I'll have another google for it, but I don't think its going to be possible without some horrifically hacky code.

Servdroiid

How would you pronounce that/spell it phonetically?

Well i'm leaning towards Serviioid, partly because it should come to the top of the android market if you seach for just serviio

What are everyones top 3 names?

What bits don't you like about the layout?
The fact that the tabs aren't the same as the normal console?

OK. Can you think of a compromise? I don't want to have too many tabs as it takes quite a few actions to move around, especially in portait mode on a phone. While it would be possible to swap tabs in and out depending on the orientation/screen size, I feel that that would make it inconsitent and confusing.

I currently feel that it should just be [Status|Devices|Shared folders|Online Sources|Adavanced]

Where advanced will be a list of the settings (for now - may include extra things like feedback or any future tabs zip adds) that the user doesn't use very often. I'll have a title and a short description under the title for each item. This should help differentiate between the two presentation settings.

What are other peoples thoughts on this?

Are there any other requests for features/changes/fixes? I want to get the last beta done at some point soon. I'll then wait a good few weeks while people use it to make sure there aren't any crashes, and then do the first release.

[Status|Devices|Shared folders|Online Sources|Presentation|Adavanced] <-- perfect advanced sound alot better than setting so makes it less confusing :)

nope i cant think of anything else i would add. well console version on front page would be a wish of mine.

But how often do people actually need to change the main Presentation settings? Once it is set up how they like it, the only reason they would re-visit it, is if zip added a new entry.

I kinda like servdroid, but then again you are right about getting better results in the Market with serviioid

IMO.. the only tabs that are needed are the following:
[Status|Devices|Shared folders|Online Sources]

Then you put an extra button "Advanced" in Options for the rest.

I think new users will probably have the basic setup (Server/Console) and then afterwards see if there is an app for that in the market.

OK, I will keep presentation under the advacned tab for now. It is an advanced option that is not needed to get Serviio up and running. If I get feedback from more users then I will consider moving it.

Are these the top few names then?
Serviioid
Servdroiid
ServiDroiid
Servoid

I think servdroiid has too many constanants in a row.
