You will need both programs for this to work.

Skifta (free)

Skifta is an easy way to control, play and enjoy your music, videos and photos at home and on the move. There's no uploading to the web or syncing to your phone. In fact, you don't copy or move your media at all. You just leave it where it is. Then, stream your file direct from Serviio and watch them directly on your android device.

Install through Google Android App Market

Rockplayer lite (free)

RockPlayer is high performance media player, currently runs on Android devices. By taking advantage of device hardware decoder and FFmpeg plugin, it supports almost every file formats and most of codecs.

Install through Google Android App Market (Lite version only so far)

I think he means from Serviio to his phone/tablet. Unfortunately so far I have not been able to display subtitles using DLNA on any of my Android devices.

Hey, I use ArkMC as an renderer. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... c.light.gm - free version

I able to select any installed video player for playback. Then send video to it from Windows Media Player "Play-to". Or browse WD NAS to get content.
