onlineRepository updates

I'm finally getting around to finishing the 0.6 version of the WHS add-in. Your management console doesn't support updating online sources. Just add and delete. Can I assume this means that the API doesn't support this? What happens if I POST an onlineRepository with an updated contentUrl or fileType? The docs say it can include "updates," but I wanted to make sure.
