Another new beta version of Vevo Top Videos (05/12/2013)

The video search was improved and now you can choose artists' videos.

The dummy address of Web Resource is the same: http://www.vevo.com, if you only use the dummy address, the plugin will show Top Videos most viewed today from all genres. If artist parameter is present, artist's videos will be shown, otherwise, Top Videos will be shown!

To choose an artist, go to the vevo web page, search for the artist you want, copy the artist's name from the result URL and put it in artist parameter. (You can choose the order and the max number of results, as in Top Videos!)

The params are the same used at http://www.vevo.com/videos/topvideos, go there choose the genre and the order, and copy the params from the result URL.

You can get differents kinds of genre from many vevo pages, so you can copy it and try it on. It is the case of http://m.vevo.com/videos.

To especify the max number of results, you can add the "max" param. For default Vevo plugin will use max defined at Serviio if unlimited it will be 100.

To use Vevo Top Videos you must have the YouTube plugin installed: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3276

This looks to be really good plugin as Vevo has so many popular Music videos - http://www.vevo.com
Since jhb50 YouTube Top 100 and Billboard Top 20 stopped working due to YouTube changes this plugin definitely has potential to be the best Music Video plugin for Serviio
Majority of the video were from Vevo too.

I cant seem to get it to work and the plugin developer not been on the forums for two months - help!

It works with preferred online content quality HIGH and LOW!

Seems to be a problem in Youtube plugin, . I'll check it!

The Vevo Plugin is working fine for me too

All i did to get it to work was copy the vevobeta.groovy to the serviio/plugins directory and then in the serviio console under the library/ online sources i then added it as a web resource with the url as http://www.vevo.com

It works a treat and i love it...

All HD videos too and look great

I works again because YouTube stopped encoding signatures last night. This may only be temporary.

I had to add this to the start of the groovy to prevent the 30 second timeout. I now works fine.

are you able to confirm these signatures have been re activated ?? im now getting all the videos show up on my tv , well what videos are available but now my tv is saying it doesn't have the avaible codec to play them ? any thoughts from your end ?
