NHL Gamecenter Live

They need to be in the lib folder not the library folder... you also need to flatten it so that all the jars are together in there at the top level. I believe the zip has some subfolders in it.

I can not find a lib folder ! Sorry for being a non-understanding-humanbeing right now but would really love to get this goin cause it seems awesome

In the serviio folder you should have a "bin" folder a "log" folder and a "lib" folder. This is where he is talking about.

No i cant find it, i should say that i'm on a mac.

Found it. I had to right-click on the app, and show package contents. It's located in Serviio.app/Contents/Resources/Java/config/profiles.xml The average Mac user would never know where to find that. That info should be stickied somewhere on this forum.

Well i know how to browse on a mac, so... But if someone could name a file that's located in that folder so can i look for that, cause for the moment i have looked over both folders and dont find a "bin" or a "lib" folder!

the user in the post I referenced above had to right click on the serviio app and click on show package contents. Not sure if that is normal on a Mac. Windows and linux here.

Edit just had a look inside the lastest version from the website

Which happens to be one up from where you have previously placed the plugin file

Ok another thing. Can you stop all serviio related things and then start it up and post the log up to and including where it loads the plugins.

You haven't posted the part of the log where it loads plugins.
Try the other url without all the extra stuff.

I was getting alot of errors from this plugin, so I removed it from the directory.

change the user name and password to your gamecenter username and password in the attached NHLGameCenterPlugin.groovy (at the top) then you should be rocking live hockey in Serviio!

Is there any way to stop the plugin if the username and passord is not changed with out downloading the required files.

The plugin might already do this, cause I did not downlaod the required extra files.

Basically can the plugin stop itself without downloading any files, unless a user puts in his username and password.

If the plugin gets loaded, it will try to do it's thing. It wouldnt really be the plugin that is spamming the logs; the only thing I believe that it writes to the log is when authentication fails. I plan on improving logging sometime. But it appears there are still issues getting it loaded.

i`m going to be honest (as i am with all these posts) and say that my noob lvl is legendary (not in a good way)!

It probably means i shouldnt even be looking to do this plugin but hey ho, here i am and i would really like to play nhl through serviio.

the plugin is installed but i need to do something about the external dependancy with http builder.
you lost me with jars and "update bin/serviio.sh to add this to the classpath" sorry!

any help appreciated.

at the moment if i go to the online folder its empty... is that what i should see with plugin but no extras or should i see something but it wont work if i click on it?

you don't have to update the .sh file, it searches all files in the lib folder automatically.

Thinking about it in regards with the Mac version, it might be needed to add the jar dependency to the plist file, which is going to be a pain - another reason to update the plugin not to be dependent on other libraries
