Tried this last night. Today, nothing but the folders had appeared. Cricket.tv plugin works though, so my setup should be ok.

Works fine for me. If you don't post any info on how you set it up and what the log says when you refresh, no one can help you.
Here's my WebResource entry

I deleted the groovy file, shutdown the server, restarted, downloaded the new groovy, then restarted

Seems to work, now..not all the feeds work, but I only use it for network feeds from Tampa (although CNN has been out for awhile)

Version 8 now posted with New IP Address, expires immediately, sort option, and ETimers.

Because of the large number of streams now available, it is possible that the item extact time will exceed the 30 second Serviio limit and the groovy will fail. To avoid this the groovy now stops extracting after 27 seconds and processes the streams extracted to that point. Time stamps of extraction progress are posted in the DEBUG log.

The groovy also now supports the sorting of streams into the default, current viewers, or total views sequence using the parameter sort=0 , 1 or 2.

It also now classifies the streams as expires immediately so that periodic playpath changes on each stream will be detected.

Version 9 posted to support web changes.

This is a major upgrade of the plugin and features a new quick refresh capability as described in the wiki at http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=quick_refresh. By default the plugin now only displays active streams for which there are scheduled events.

This makes it practical to do refreshes frequently using the refresh parameter and keep the list of items up to date without the overhead of re-extracting the existing items. Refreshes that previously took many minutes are now done in one or two seconds.

I am new to this board. I actually just found out I could stream this online stuff last night using serviio and stayed up til 2am playing around with it.

Anyway, I have had an extremely odd experience with the iLive plugin...

At first it gave an error like "cannot connect to servor". I tried everything but still had this error.
Now today I tried it when I got up, same thing. After an hour or so I tried it again and it worked. As in, many channels were listed in the iLive folder!
I attempted to play one of the channels, and recieved a "Cannot read file" message. This message appeared with every single channel I should try.

Finally, I decided to try signing up to express my dilemma. The most recent channel I decided to try for the Hell of it was the Playboy channel. Same error.
So I'm sitting here signing up, and my Panasonic Vierra ST30 is black with the error "Cannot read file"... and then all of a sudden there's a moan out of nowhere and the channel is working with some woman getting it. Lol.

Now I try another channel, and it still says "Cannot read file". I don't know if I have to leave it like that until it can read the file? Why would that be?

If someone can tell me what information you need - how properly post a log and which log file to post. Please bare with me.

Here is all the information I can give you at the moment:

Panasonic Vierra ST30 55" TV
Serviio 1.0.1
Profile: Panasonic Vierra E/S/ST/VT (2011)
Macbook Pro 2012 OSX (I am new to OSX so it is frustrating trying to find my way around this new OS when I could do so myself in Windows fairly easily)
Have iLive plug-in; stream is set to "http://ilive.to/channels/Entertainment?refresh=120

In serviio.log I am getting this:
[ProcessExecutor] Process /Applications/Serviio.app/Contents/Resources/Java/../../MacOS/ffmpeg has a return code of 137! This is a possible error.

Sometimes I get a return code of 1, even though the stream is clearly working online when I view via my PC.

EDIT: Ok, tried to load CWTV and it sat there with that error. Gave it some time but didn't kick in like Playboy channel. Backed out and clicked channel again and it loaded.

Not sure if it is a problem with 'Preferred online content quality'; Had it at Medium when Playboy kicked in. Changed to High and backed out, clicked Playboy again and it loaded.
Had it at medium and CWTV loaded. Changed to High, backed out and it did not load right away like Playboy did. EDIT: Changed back to High and PB loaded after a while of "cannot read file"

Sounds like problems unique to Panny and MAC. Certainly nothing to do with the plugin. You might try posting in those forum threads.

Thanks! Can you give me specifics? I'm using Macbook Pro 2012; OSX Version 10.8.2; Tried both Serviio 1.0.1 and 1.1 both with the same response.
Did you manually build FFMPEG? What TV do you have?

I have a MacBook Pro 2008 with OSX 10.8.2 with Serviio 1.1
And a Sony Bravia 2011.
Didn't do anything special with ffmpeg

Did you try the webresource I use?

Tried that one first but couldn't get anything. Added the ?refresh=120. I will try it without that again. Don't think it will help but thanks for the suggestion.

Well this sucks. Maybe it's my Panasonic TV. Damn it.

I suggest you first get a livestream to play successfully before you try plugins. See my signature.

Thanks I will try this method. I did follow the method listed in "THE LIVESTREAM LIBRARY - A SET OF RSS FOLDERS" as in:

You first need to verify that your Serviio setup can play a "livestream" before you attempt to use these folders or post in this thread, so first setup these sky and india news links as livestreams in Serviio as a test. If they won't play then ask elsewhere in the forum for help with your setup.

"mmsh://live1.wm.skynews.servecast.net/skynews_wmlz_live300k"
"rtmp://cdn.rtmp1.yupptv.tv:1935/nwk/ swfUrl=http://cdn.freedocast.com/player-octo/yume/v5/infinite-hd-player-FREEDOCAST.SWF pageURL=http://www.yupptv.com/streams/newsx1.aspx playpath=newsx"

Second link worked. Well, actually I just tried it again and I got error 500; check log. It says this:

WARN [ServiioStatusService] PersistenceException occured. Returning error code 500 to the REST layer. Message: Cannot create OnlineRepository for url rtmp://cdn.rtmp1.yupptv.tv:1935/nwk/ swfUrl=http://cdn.freedocast.com/player-octo/yume/v5/infinite-hd-player-FREEDOCAST.SWF pageURL=http://www.yupptv.com/streams/newsx1.aspx playpath=newsx
