I just wanted to thank you for this great resource... the work you guys have put into this is immense

I've been trying to use Serviio and Skysportsplus for quite a while, and unfortunately for me, it has been quite hit or miss. I can sometimes pick up the streams on the odd occasion but for the most part, I get an error saying "Cannot Read File". My TV is a Panasonic Viera ET5.

I've posted a log here... any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Note: I only turned on DEBUG at about 1415; anything before that is likely irrelevant

Looks like this is a Panny profile problem. I suggest you move this post over to the panny thread area where some other panny users can help you.

Dear Master., Ipl channel has been missing for a couple of days now.Is there any other cricket channels?

Next IPL event is tomorrow 12:30 GMT. Lots of Cricket on http://www.ihdsports.com/ but I am unable to get the icasthd stream urls. You could play them in the browser and stream your desktop though.

This is absolutely the best use (among many!) for Serviio, thanks so much for developing.

I do appear to have lost SS1 and SS3 for some reason over the last couple of days, just wondering is there a fix for this?? I do use the noevent=1 parameter.

I suffered a loss of ss1 and ss3 too. I looked into it and it stems from cricfree changing the stream urls again.

I was waiting for an update but as its been nearly a month I thought i'd share the fix with you. I would post the amended groovy file but its not fair on the original author.

Edit the .groovy file with notepad or a similar text editor. Scroll down the file until you find these lines of code;



add a line break at the end of any line within all those similar lines and add the following two lines;



so that whole section should now be like this;

The above changes will correct the ch99 labels on ss1 and ss3 ( and break the skysports news label) but do not fix the SS1 and SS3 playback problem which was due to cricfree using an unsupported source at that time. They are currently using a supported source so SS1 and ss3 will play again.

The version does not work with ezcast - I have fixed this in the attached version.

Is there no wat we can get Sky sports working - I see they are using rtmfp rather than rtmp. Anyone know how to get this working- assume we cannot just call the base page?

Bit of a mishmash. All you needed to do was change the url at line 865 from 'rtmp://64.191.80.10/live', to 'rtmp://185.2.138.108/live',

I never touched that bit. Not sure what you are on about?

Ok - know what your on about - just did that so it would not find a match so I could test - rather than commenting whole section

I understand what you did. Point is that changing the url as I posted would have negated the need for the whole section you added. With the new url (which changes periodically) ezcast woks fine.

ok, but question- would you not need to keep changing, but will the block added stop that as it handles dynamic changes with the loadbalancer?

The only reason I did the change was because it was not working- only trying to help

Good point. I did not notice the load balancer. Thanks.
But I think that this groovy is a dead end because they have switched to the Chinese servers which I have no idea how to access the streams.
