RSS

RSS är ett sätt att följa uppdateringar på sajter och bloggar utan att behöva surfa runt och leta. På TV3 Play kan du följa uppdateringar i alla automatiska listningar (din spellista, senast tillagda, mest sedda o.s.v.).

Allt du behöver är en RSS-läsare. De flesta webbläsare har numera inbyggda RSS-läsare. Andra vanliga är Google Reader (länk) och Bloglines (länk).

Du lägger till en prenumeration genom att klicka på RSS-länken intill listan eller programmet så läggs den till i din RSS-läsare. Du kan även klicka på den orangea RSS-ikonen (bild) i din webbläsares adressfönster och därifrån välja vad du vill prenumerera på.

När exempelvis en spellista du prenumererar på uppdateras får din RSS-läsare ett meddelande om detta.

Med RSS på TV3 Play. Klicka på RSS-länken intill listan så läggs den till i din RSS-läsare.

I made some small attempts at this, but I ended up with a flash-link that I couldn't get to play through serviio...

I haven't spent that much time digging into this though, so there might be a simple way forward.

that's a link to the player, not the content. You have to look at FireBug or similar tool to work out the network activity.

I think I have a working plugin for Tv3Play now.

The "think" part is due to the fact I'm not at home and can't test it with my TV...

I'll place it online here for now if anyone feel like trying it out in it's current alpha-stage. I will move it to Available plugins when I have verified(and probably fixed) it.

looks ok, you need to make sure that:

1) ffmpeg -i "rtmp://cp90686.edgefcs.net/ondemand/flash/sweden/tv3/Lyxfallan/Season9/lyxfallan_903" works and returns file information
2) the URL never expires, if it does work out the date of expiry
3) with rtmp URLs it's sometimes necessary to split the URL and pass it as a part of various librtmp attributes (see iPlayer plugin), rtmpdump docs

1) Checked as part of development, ok
2) Seems ok, will have to be verified
3) This is what might need changing, I will find out when I try to run this with my TV at home.

if 1) is ok, then 3) should be ok as well... unless they have swf verification which would cause the stream to stop after some time (e.g. 1 minute)

I am brand new to this stuff, so please bear with me.. lol..

I have changed 'tv3' in feed and groovy plug in to also try the same tv networks other play sites.. 'tv6' and 'tv8' tv6 works the same as FlamingLizard tv3.. but found tv8 did not load items in the feed..

Hi,

for the PS3 there is a channel plugin wich was developed by an swedish guy "sharkhunter" he is really cool... his channels contains 3-4 swedisch TV sender... also TV3 & 4 etc...
May a look in the finished sources could help you ?
