I know theres a iPlayer plugin already made for the RSS feeds provided by iPlayer
I propose there should be another for choosing channnels and invidual programmed like the 4oD plugin
Dont get me wrong i love the current iPlayer plugin but wish there was more content

I know alot of plugins use alot of source taken from open source XBMC python plugins
The talentled programmers at XBMC have made a plugin for the program here
And they have provided their source code here - http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-iplayerv2/

Another way is probably doing Web Resource plugin for URLs begins with "http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search?"

example:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search?q=eastenders

or my favourite program that never come on the rss feed:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search?q=click
