Streams from SVT Play (which work great by the SvtPlay plugin) have, in many cases, an associated subtitle file.

I have a Samsung TV which are capable of displaying subtitles. However, there does not seem to be any way to extract a subtitle in the current plugin format.

Would it be possible to add this ability to the plugin API?

As an example of how this works for SVT Play:
The SRT-formatted file is available at a location such as: http://media.svt.se/download/mcc/kluste ... 01_sv.wsrt

This URL is available for extraction from the show html page (e.g. http://svtplay.se/v/2601123/vetenskapen ... nersta_ut_), the same page that the SvtPlay plugin extracts the rtmp stream from.

That's a good idea. But maybe later.

I would like to make the same request. A subtitle entry for the plugin API would be awseome.
