So I have Serviio working great on my Sony entertainment system but i've been having one heck of a time trying to get it to work on the roommate's

Philips 29PFL4908/F7

I've tried using the General DNLA Profile, Philips (2009), Philips (2010-), & DirectTV profiles but no dice. I see the database structure but when i go to play any video (XVID, DIVX, .H264, MKV) it gives me a playback error.

DNLA.org says it supports...
Video
AVC_MP4_BL_CIF15_AAC_520
MPEG_PS_NTSC
MPEG_TS_HD_NA
MPEG_TS_HD_NA_ISO
MPEG_TS_HD_NA_T
MPEG_TS_SD_NA
MPEG_TS_SD_NA_ISO
MPEG_TS_SD_NA_T

I got this profile to work roughly half the time but its choppy and won't play/pause/or fast forward... any ideas?

That's a very limited odec support, so you'll have to transcode. That;s what the other Philips and DirecTV profiles do. If it still doesn't work, then perhaps the TV doesn't like transcoded content.
