New version

I'm anxious for the coming versions. I see that 0.3.1 is the next coming but I'm really looking forward for 0.4 (with Transcoding and Music Video browsing). Any idea or estimated date to have them released?? I will be very glad to test them :-D

Re: New version

Hi, I was busy over the Christmas period, but should be able to release 0.3.1 sometime this week. 0.4 is quite packed with new features, I don't think I'll be able to give you anything to test before the end of January.

Re: New version

0.3.1 is working very well here! Now I'm very anxious for 0.4 with transcoding, if this works well I'll stop using 3 different media servers at the same time :-)

Re: New version

Doing my best here ;-) Something is shaping up, I'll need some beta testers because it'll be a hard work to make it work flawlessly.

Re: New version

Hi Zip, did you succeeded to play a H264+AC3 ts or m2ts with the new version ? Did you find a solution to the problem with video speed up (related to 23.976 frame rate not supported for TS/M2TS on Samsung TVs) ?

Re: New version

If you have a Samsung TV, try to stream a blu-ray m2ts to the tv.
First: The samsung tv does not recognize the audio ids, these ids are not the same as the usual ones in streaming. This results in no Audio on the TV.

Second: Try this same m2ts remuxed in a TS. In this case, the tv plays the video too fast if the framerate is 23.976. Changing framerate to 25 or 30 (Normal PAL and NTSC frame rates), now the video is well played.

I don't know if it's due to bad profiles or if the does not simply support this kind of streams.
I'm just surprised that 23.976 MKVs play just fine.

If you need ts and m2ts samples i can provide you samples. You can generate samples yourself with http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=134104.
If you don't know it, this tool help you in remuxing mkv to TS/M2TS. You can change frameRate and disable new bluray PES in on of the configuration options.
